Edwardian Day today at the school, here are the boys in their outfits.

 

I even baked some cookies for the occassion, baking isnt my strongest point so they turned out pretty well considering!



The running mumster

Today I woke up with a pain in my knee, bang goes my running this morning, with the mums that i had agreed to do this with on a very drunken night out to shift my spare tyre. I'm getting slightly fed up now of looking six months gone and getting asked when the baby is due...shifting the belly after the second child was always going to be difficult when your in your mid 30s at the time! But this morning my knee felt very swollen and the pain trying to shift down the stairs was uncomfortable to say the least. I felt bad in myself as i had achieved several runs for the first time last week and now this break was going to set me back again. Still I shall put the old trainers on and go for a long walk instead with my knee sock on. The knee problem stems back to a old Karate injury I had around 10 years ago and probably has been agrivated by me not knowing how to run properly.

So have been watching this until i can start again next week.

New Haircut

This is Owain after his brand new haircut, he wanted it like his friend Jack, ended up a bit like a mini Justin Bieber! He was very happy afterwards as the barber always gives him a lovely lollypop.

Let me introduce myself..

Well hello people, I'm a 40something SAHM, times are tough for us so getting frugal lately but i'll cover that in a later blog. I am married and have two boys who are sometimes extremely hard work and trying but also the love of my whole life. I decided to become a full time mum just when the extortionate child care fees stopped me from returning to work. There are good days and some bad but at the moment I enjoy the in the freedom in the daytime as both boys are now both at school fulltime. I do not sit on my arse all day and watch Jeremy Kyle, but I'm a complete ebay nut and my dream is to become a powerseller at somepoint.
